Fisherman’s Pub is a beloved, family owned local institution right on the seaside in the heart of Speightstown, St. Peter, founded back in 1937. Run today by proprietor Clement “Junior,” it’s a genuine Bajan seaside bar and pub rather than a formal restaurant, serving up authentic Barbadian cuisine cafeteria style, with a daily changing Creole buffet featuring dishes like flying fish, cou cou, pepper pot, and macaroni pie.
Seating both indoors and out on a seaside deck with views of the Speightstown pier, it’s long been a favourite with locals and visitors alike, known for hearty, affordable food in a relaxed, no frills setting.
