Mama Mia Italian Deli & Pizzeria is a family owned Italian restaurant on Hastings Main Road, Christ Church, serving fresh, authentic Italian food since it first opened its doors in 2003. It was started by Guise “Mama” Ferri, who brought her recipes from her native Naples, and those traditions still sit at the heart of the menu today.
Guests can head to individual food stations for paninis, salads, or daily changing hot food specials, along with a standout pizza station featuring a traditional Italian wood-burning oven, cooking up over 15 types of thin crust pizza. It’s a firm favourite with both locals and visitors, and has picked up the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence multiple times over the years.
